Douglas Cones graduated from The Ohio State University in 1985 with a degree in both finance and accounting. Following this, he spent six years in public accounting, including time with the Big 4 firm, Deloitte as well as five years as the treasurer for a regional agricultural cooperative.
Doug is currently the Director of Compensation for Cardinal Health (CAH), a Fortune 100 company specializing in the distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical products. Doug has been with Cardinal Health for 25 years working in a variety of areas including financial, accounting, and most recently, HR.
Doug is a member of St. Brigid of Kildare Church in Dublin, OH since 1991. He is currently the chairman of the board for the St. Brigid men's group, called Cornerstone. He previously served on the board of directors for Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation, as well as the board for FORE Hope, a non profit organization focused on improving cognitive, physical and social needs through individual and group golf programs for those with neurological conditions.
Doug is married to his wife, Maureen who is a Eucharistic Minister at St. Brigid. They have four children, Bethany, Josh, Chris and Seth, all of whom went attended Catholic schools at St. Brigid and Bishop Watterson High School.
Doug joined the board of YCP Columbus in January of 2020.
Since 2011, Lauren Manson has been the Executive Director of the Ohio Health Information Management Association, the non-profit association representing over 4000 HIM credentialed specialists in Ohio and the state component affiliate of the national American Health Information Management Association.
Before taking on her role with OHIMA, Lauren worked in the HIM department at The Ohio State University Medical Center and then spent several years implementing Electronic Medical Records throughout the United States.
She graduated with honors from The Ohio State University in 2008 with a major in Health Information Management and Systems and a minor in Business.
Cid Rhomberg is the founder and president of two organizations, Brick House Blue and Innovere, LLC. Brick House Blue, a coworking and meeting space, opened in 2018 and operates two locations. Innovere, a consulting and coaching firm specializing in strategic marketing, business planning, coaching and leadership development launched in 2015. Due to her expertise in B2B and B2C marketing, Cid is uniquely suited to build dynamic teams, develop talent and drive results through a growth-oriented strategic marketing approach. While broad-based, her work with clients centers on three core areas of development: critical thinking, focused leadership and strategic vision.
Cid lead marketing for Cardinal Health, a Fortune 16 wholesale pharmaceutical distributor and medical surgical supply manufacturer headquartered in Dublin, OH. She was responsible for customer experience, customer intelligence, segmentation and resource alignment, brand, digital marketing and thought leadership. Cid spearheaded re-branding and value proposition which resulted in higher customer loyalty and profitability. She received the Chairman’s Innovation Award and a RX Gold Award for innovative produces and campaigns.
Prior to her 12-year career at Cardinal Health, Cid worked for Stanley Black & Decker in New Britain, CT where she led marketing and sales-generating efforts for four industrial brands. She began her career with Safelite Auto Glass, where she managed a multi-million-dollar advertising budget, national account campaigns and point-of-sale initiatives for 500-plus locations.
Cid’s passion for the development, recruitment and retention of women led her to be a founding member of women’s resource groups, both at Stanley Black and Decker and Cardinal Health. She served on the executive committee of Cardinal Health’s Women’s Initiative Network.
Cid gives her time in a variety of ways to St. Brigid of Kildare Church, Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Women’s Auxiliary and in 2019, completed a $2.8million capital campaign for the Columbus Metropolitan Library Dublin branch.
Cid joined the YCP Columbus Board of Directors in October, 2020.
Tom is Managing Member and founder of the Firm. He assists clients with multistate business tax issues and represents many multistate and multinational companies and their owners and executives, before various state departments of revenue across the country, as well as before the Ohio Department of Taxation, other federal and state agencies, municipal tax authorities, the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals, Ohio Supreme Court, and the Ohio General Assembly. Tom currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. He is a Past-Chair of both The Ohio Chamber of Commerce and The Ohio Society of CPAs. He also serves as Treasurer of the Manufacturing Policy Alliance.
Previously, Tom served as Ohio Tax Commissioner and a member of Governor Bob Taft’s cabinet. As Tax Commissioner, Tom led the Ohio Department of Taxation, which is responsible for administering most state-collected taxes, several locally collected taxes, and for supervising the real property tax. His role included guiding the development of Ohio's tax policy through state and federal legislative efforts. Tom also worked closely with tax administrators in other states as a participant in the Federation of Tax Administrators, the Multistate Tax Commission and as chair of Ohio's delegation to the Implementing States Committee of the Streamlined Sales Tax Project.
Following an ethical scandal at the Ohio State Racing Commission in 2004, Tom was appointed by Governor Taft to the Racing Commission in order to assist the newly appointed Chair and Executive Director to reform the Racing Commission. He was reappointed to the Racing Commission by Governor Strickland in 2007 and was instrumental in guiding the Strickland administration’s understanding of Ohio’s gaming laws.
Tom was also a tax partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. At PwC, Tom represented clients in a wide variety of federal and multistate tax matters. Tom was also a founding member of the firm’s National VISION Team, a special project management service provided to large clients to assist in the implementation of significant business process and legal entity changes.
Tom joined the Board of Directors of YCP Columbus in December, 2019.
