In 2009 Christina moved to Columbus to take on the role of Anti-Human Trafficking Specialist at The Salvation Army where she witnessed the truest horror of the sex industry; the act of sex turned into a causal commodity in which women suffer greatly as the object of purchase.
Working with Amethyst Inc. 2014, Christina transitioned from street level emergency engagement with trafficking victims to counseling them full time through CATCH Court. CATCH, Changing Actions to Change Habits, is run by Judge Paul Herbert whose faith in Christ inspired him to create an avenue for women to escape prostitution via the justice system.
Since 2016 Christina has treasured her role as one of the FBI's Victim Specialists. As a Victim Specialist, she is able to be a comfort, advocate, and guide to victims of federal crimes. Her time at the FBI has allowed her to better understand the impacts of human trafficking, child pornography, mass shootings, as well as other elements of darkness. Two of the greatest lessons she has learned in her time with the FBI are that God will bring all things full circle and the deepest sorrow will eventually extend to the highest satisfaction.
